What We Offer
Currently we are located in The Wesley Conference Centre (London Euston). The Wesley is located in central London and has excellent transport links. It is also located a stones throw away from The British Library and The British Museum. Many of our students enjoy visiting and studying at these locations.
Tuition Centre based in London Euston (Central London)
Here at Advanced Tuition we teach and guide students through their secondary education, to give them the best chance at gaining access to and excelling in their desired career.
We support students through GCSE’s with a combination of teaching techniques from presentations to regular question sessions. Overall we aim to provide them with all they need to attain the grades of their highest potential. Not only that, but we teach them in a manner that prepares them for A Levels, so they find it easier to adapt and transition to the next course.
The step from GCSE’s to A-Levels is huge! The minimum grade required to enrol on to A-levels in specific subjects is usually a grade 7 at GCSEs. Many students underestimate the huge jump between GCSEs and A-Levels and tend to work with low work ethic. We encourage our students to begin studying from September and aid them to organise their time efficiently. We work with our students and parents to achieve their end targets, so that they are able to pursue their interest at a higher level.

We offer the subjects Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and English at GCSE stages and A-levels. We currently cater to these exam board specifications: OCR, AQA, EDEXCEL, we can enrol for other exam boards on a case by case selection.
We operate in small exam board specific classes to maximise student and tutor interactions. By using the latest technology and resources we ensure each student has the best opportunity to reach their full potential.
Using the official exam boards specifications, we create a tailored syllabus that is used to teach throughout the year. We confirm every topic point is thoroughly covered and understood by going through questions in class. We then solidify this knowledge by setting question packs to be completed at home and giving regular tests. End of term exams help students and tutors track their work progress and identifies any weak topics that students may need extra help with.
We have always believed in continual support for our students. We have created online groups with the tutors which is available throughout the week, this is another source of support if needed. Our latest venture is our online portals, where our students will have access to resources and class materials from their homes. We expect our students to upload their completed tasks by the deadline, as requested from their tutors. This creates more time during class to go through essential topics and questions.
We also provide a complimentary unique UCAS service, which consists of the following:
- Career advice sessions where we help students choose the right career for them. Many career advisors de-motivate students by simply looking at grades. We look at a student's potential together with their grades and help them choose a career. Where possible we also get a professional in that field to speak to students.
- We then help our students with their personal statement for their UCAS application. We have seen that Schools unfortunately cannot provide sufficient help to students due to the staff to student ratio. We have acknowledged this problem and have taken effective measures to solve it.
- Prospective Medical and Dental students will have access to tailored UKCAT sessions. These sessions may be subject to a fee. A high score in the UKCAT is essential to enrol on to a Medical or Dental degree.
- Interview preparation
- Laboratory & experimental techniques
- Mentoring
